However, Train Valley 2 is not a tycoon game and if you expect something like TTD etc, then you will be disappointed. As was with me.Lately, I gave the game a second try while not expecting anything from it. Et violá, Train Valley 2 is real fun. Its rather are puzzle game than a tycoon game and you can play it for hours; either by beating yourself at the different levels or by creating our own levels for the workshop. I very much recommend this game!. This is an Early Access title.. and I STILL have almost nothing negative to say about it. Its straightforward time and resource management, simple, clean yet challenging. Fans of the original will enjoy the increased measure of control, while newcomers can appreciate a Train Valley game without the sometimes frustrating random element of the original.Quite literally the only downside to it in its present state (I am playing on day-1 early access) is the graphics style - its using very low poly models, which could stand to be improved. I THOUROUGHLY look forward to seeing how the title develops between now and release.. Classic Train Valley reborn with an excellent sequel. With a promise of editor and new game mechanics Train Valley 2 smashes the fun train based puzzle game. Fun graphics, more complex scenarios than TV1. Train Valley 1 is very fun and recommend that as well if you don't have it.. I really enjoyed this its much better than the first as there is a lot more to do deliver workers which produce wood and then take wood to the lumber mill to make planks of wood and then to the paper mill.It reminded me of Railroad Tycoon but there is no business management.It took me 75 hours over 2 weeks to complete this game so it is value for money and entertainment.. better than the first IMO. Very fun simple puzzle/sim game.. I really loved TV1, which is why I bought this Early Access even as I hate the Early Access concept, and that may have been a mistake. Going into it straight from TV1, this was a huge, monumental disappointment. Everything fun from TV1 was gone or changed. Over time they've added content and reintroduced the old functions and I believe by the time it's released it's most likely going to be a good game. I've slowly started to enjoy myself, and the player-created levels adds some variety. I wish I'd waited, though, instead of associating this game with that horrible first experience.So I give a careful recommendation, and head warning to fellow TV1 players to either wait and see what becomes of it, or be prepared for that this is a different creature.. A straight improvement over the already great first part. Still train puzzling, now with no randomness, and more control.. Construct elaborate track systems to overcome devious logistics puzzles. The level editor is actually simple to use allowing easy level development. FUN.
